To Whom This May Concern;

I have the 2DIMM DDR5 Ram Waterblock kit coming for my 7600Gskills monday and was just thinking out all possible issues prior to installation. The Concern im having is do i apply thermal grease or thermal pad on top of each ram heatsink so it can touch the base of waterblock? directions dont say anything of the sort but i find it hard to believe the waterblock just sits on top of the module sinks with NO interface material.... Anyone have input? Thank you

Dear Customer,

The water block sits on the RAM, and the heat will be taken away through the RAM heatsink.  You do not need to apply any thermal grease or thermal pad on top of each ram heatsink. Because when the water block touches the heatsink directly, the heat will be taken away much faster. So the RAM temperature is lower than with thermal grease or thermal pad.

Installing a 2 DIMM RAM block requires careful attention to compatibility and placement to ensure optimal performance. Check your motherboard’s specifications to confirm support for the RAM type, speed, and capacity. Ensure that the RAM sticks are installed in the correct slots, typically indicated in the user manual, for dual-channel performance. For example, if you're using a Sego Mobile device as part of a diagnostic setup, its portable interface can help you access online guides or tools to verify proper installation and troubleshoot any issues, ensuring a smooth upgrade process.
