Is my fan control hub faulty?

I just purchased the 3 pack of BPTA Notos 120 DRGB fans that come with the fan control hub and RGB control hub today. The RGB hub works fine using the SATA cable. However the control hub does not work, and when I plug my SATA cable into the hub my pc fails to start, I've plugged each fan into the Sys Fan slot and they all work individually. Is my control hub faulty? Or is there something that I'm missing?

Hello Dillon,

It seems that the DRGB hub is not compatible with your motherboard.
But you can connect the fan directly to the DRGB slot of your motherboard.

And then control the RGB by the software of your motherboard.
