Hi. I've had to remove my monoblock out of the loop and found that there was some black stuff around the edges and in the fins. I assume this is growth so I ran some distilled water with my ddc pump at 100% to clear larger particles, and am now running with pre-mix fluid with bio inhibitors. My issue is with these little black spots that seem to have spread (Here (imgur link)). Is this just growth and do I just disassemble my block and clean it with soap since its nickel plated?

I also seem to have some scratching on the bottom of the plate somehow that i can feel if i lightly run my nail over. HztPnW1.jpg (2016×1512) (imgur.com) is there a way to tell if this is raised or not? Just wondering if it would scratch my cpu.

Dear Customer,

You can disassemble your block and clean with distilled water and soft cloth.
Also we advise you to only use distilled water instead of any other coolant.
The scratching in circle seems like black trace, you can use the eraser to clean it.
It won't scratch your cpu.
