Use of automatic air-exhaust fitting BP-MBACET

Hello,

I have one valve BP-MBACET that I plan to mount on top of a reservoir.

I tested the custom loop without this valve, in order to see if there was any (air) leak.

The test was successful and I had no drop in air pressure on the custom loop.

My question:

Do I understand correctly that the purpose of this valve is in exausting the air inside the custom loop automatically until the loop has no more air and is fully filled only with coolant ?

Is there anything that I should pay attention to ?

The purpose of this valve is in exhausting the air inside the custom loop automatically until the loop has the same air pressure as outside atmospheric pressure. Just keep it on top of a reservoir.
