I have an MSI Gaming Trio X RTX 4080. It is the same PCB as the Gaming Trio/SUPRIM 4090, just with fewer GDDR memory chips and some VRM differences, as well as a smaller silicon die for the main NVIDIA graphics processor chip.
The 4090 waterblock appears to be able to mount to this card, it would just have a lot of GPU coverage wasted as the 4080 die is so much smaller.
Do you think the cooling would be sufficient using the MSI 4090 waterblock on a 4080? The card already runs cool, but I need to custom loop watercool due to the size of the air cooler.
