Does the rgb fans work without connecting to the 4pin 5v since my motherboard is 12v?

Does the rgb on the fans work with just the controller included and not connected to the 5v on motherboard? Thanks!

Yes, the DRGB on the fans works with our controller, and then the DRGB is controlled by the controller. It can not connect to the 12V pin on your mother board.
