does fin stack size matter?

the fin stack on the 3080 series waterblocks seems quite small in comparison to other blocks ive seen. meaning the fin stack area coverage. it seems to be smaller than the die size on the 3080's would this not impact temps negatively over competitors blocks? or does this not even matter?

About the fin stack, we have the design standard. Maybe on some water block it is not full cover of the die area, but covers mostly. About the little area, it is not the matter because cooling function also depends on the inner design of the waterway too.
