Power from mobo to rgb controller

Question

I just bought the Notos 120 RGB Fans yesterday and when I connect the RGB controller hub to my motherboard the RGB doesn't turn on. It turns on when a sata cable is plugged in but not when connected to the ARGB header of my mother board. Is the controller not compatible with my board? I have a ROG Strix B500-F Gaming.

Yes, it seems that the controller is not compatible with your motherboard.
But you can just connect the fan led strip directly to your mother board.
And then you can control the RGB by software of your mother board.
