I want to change my Intel setup to AMD and want to know if I need to buy new distroplates and tubing etc. for the pc case.  Asides from the motherboard, is everything else identical?

You don't need to buy new distro plates if you don't change your case.
Which motherboard are you going to exchange? Please check the installation guide of Titan X 1.2, if your motherboard is on the compatible list, you don't need to buy tubing too. You just need to exchange the plate of the CPU water block from Intel to AMD. And install the AMD water block according to the installation guide.
