AS3080TUF - VRAM low contact

Hello BP support,

Recently I purchased the mentioned WB from PerformancePCs (great resource in the US for watercooling needs) and installed on my brand new Asus Tuf OC 3080 (Revision 1).

GPU Die temps were great, however VRAM temps are very hot, 70C+ while simply gaming. Mining temps were 108C+ and hitting 110C quickly being throttled. Contact via screw torque is not the issue as I verified before disassembly (to replace pads). I found this thread that basically summed up my issue and provided the solution.

Here is an album from when I disassembled the GPU to add 1.5MM ThermalRight. You can see which pads had obvious prints. My VRAM temps are now 90C while mining and ~60C while gaming.

For reference, my partner has a Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme 3080 (factory waterblocked) that mines when not gaming, and the VRAM temps are typically 72C.

I like the product, look and quality of the block; however I was very disappointed in the pads provided.

Thanks for your response.
