DRGP strip broken

Question

Hello, the DRGB strip that came with the BP-VG3090ASF block seems to be broken. The strip flickers even when I set the DRGB header to a static color. It seems to be a problem with the strip itself because when I connect a different strip, it works okay. Is just the strip itself covered under warranty at all?

The motherboard I have it connected to is a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master and the header is set to 5v.
