Titan 2.0 LGA 1700 Mounting bracket does not work

Question

I bought the Titan 2.0 kit, I am using an Asus Strix 690-E, The included mounting hardware does not work and is not compatible. I followed the instructions exactly as they were listed. When I attempt to put on the thumb screws not more than one can be put on.
