Do i need the RGB controller in the box to make the light's work properly?

I used a splitter to connect the rgb lights. The problem I'm having is that the rgb will not stay white. It flashes white for a second or two but turn red afterwards. So I don't know if I have to use the included controller so that I can have full control of the rgb lighting.

Hi Miguel,

Yes, you can connect the led strips to the RGB controller.
And then you can control the colors only with the controller.
Not with the motherboard.
