BP-MBEML16 with BP-NCPLT16

Question

I'm trying to use the above mentioned multi-link with above mentioned NC PETG Link tube OD16MM. However I'm not able to inset the tube pass the internal rubber O ring inside the fitting. Tried using lube - no luck. Could you please advise.
