What is the "CTL" port for on my rgb hub?

I purchased the fan and digital rgb remote controller hub and i was going through the install guide i noticed the diagram did not explain what the CTL port (right next to the power port) was for, in fact the diagram didnt even include the CTL port. I am asking what this is used for because I am new to installing rgb fans and dont want to cause any kind of malfunction. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

Dear Customer,

Sorry that we did not find the port which is named CTL on the controller.
If you meant the one marked "RC/MB", it is the port to change the LED color controlled by the motherboard or by the controller.
If not, please circle the CTL in a picture and send it to us,
