Is the 'True Brass' color a brass colored plating or actual brass?

Some items like https://shop.bitspower.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2504&search=temperature have a 'true brass' color, but it is not clear if that is a brass colored nickel plating or actual straight brass without plating. Are all 'true brass' fittings plain real brass?

Hello, all of our fittings are made in brass, and then plated in different colors. Such as BP-TBWP-CT, the one in the link, it is brass and plating a brass colored too. If without plating, the brass will be oxidation, and the color will be ugly.
