building a gaming PC with an MSI Z390-A PRO motherboard
I have also installed 5 notos o120 pwm fans Power for the fans is hooked directly to the 5 sys fan slots on the motherboard, and they are all linked to the touchaqua control board that is powered by the SATA cable
when I first installed the fans, they worked, and cycled through colors when I tested them.
Then I hooked up the hard drive, and had some issues with it, finally troubleshooting and discovering I had a bad drive. I replaced the drive, which was immediately detected, but then the lights on the fans just quit doing anything. 2 are partially lit up and stuck on blue, and the other 3 have between 3 and 5 individual LEDs lit up. They do not cycle colors like they did before.
I have replaced the touchaqua control board, and have all 5 of the fans powered by the motherboard.
I have read the instructions, but they are not terribly clear, and there is no trouble shooting instructions
I have tinkered in the bios settings and turned on PWM on each of the fans. I installed MSI's Mystic Light software and it works for the LEDs on the CPU fan and on the RAM chips, but still, just a few sickly blue lights on the case fans.
Is it possible to burn the LEDs out in the fans?
Am I missing something?
Do I need to adjust something?
any help would be appreciated.
