Dear Customer,

The Bitspower Orion 4090 MSI water block is for the front GPU, not for the back side of the card. The hotspot temp is around 80c and 95c, that's normal. If you use air cooling of the card, the hotspot temp is about 110c. And mostly, the hot spot temp won't affect the performance function of your card. If you still want to make the hotspot temp lower, you can add a fan or backside water block on the back plate of our water block.

GPU hotspot refers to the hottest point on a graphics processing unit

(GPU Drift Hunters) during operation.

First, ensure that the thermal paste application is done correctly. Applying too much or too little can affect heat transfer efficiency. Additionally, ensure that the CPU block or GPU block is making proper contact with the processor or graphics chip respectively.

If reseating the block is necessary, you can typically reuse the original thermal pads as long as they are in good condition and have not been damaged during the removal process. However, if they show signs of wear or tear, it's best to replace them with new ones to ensure optimal thermal conductivity. When I feel like this, I start writing poems.
