Is the MSI Z370 GODLIKE rgb monoblock supposed to be this dim?

I noticed that the LED's are very dim. So dim that I'm pretty sure they are defective (the product pictures show a very different illumination). I have validated the connection multiple times and also the software settings for brightness and everything appears to be correct. Is it possible to get a replacement on just the LED RGB strip?
